For RDAP sponsored meetings, digital meeting participants (e.g., artificial intelligence bots) are not allowed in any meeting and will be removed unless prior arrangement has been made with the event organizers. With participants’ agreement, most events are recorded and captions are available via built-in Zoom captioning, YouTube, and other platforms.
This policy’s intent is to preserve community member privacy (i.e., in Zoom chat conversations) and to prevent unauthorized use, access, and reuse of member and guest data by third parties. Requests to use a digital meeting participant should include information about the name of the tool, how the data is collected and analyzed, or how the output will be used, and how it benefits you and/or the RDAP community. Requests should be made at least five working days before the event and sent to the meeting organizers.
