Through a joint effort of the RDAP Sponsorship and Membership Action Committees, a limited number of scholarships were awarded to cover registration for the 2026 Virtual Research Data Access & Preservation (RDAP) Summit and RDAP membership for one year.
Scholarship applications were open to all, but preference were given to:
- Current students (undergraduate or graduate)
- Early career professionals (3 years or less) currently working or interested in research data management and preservation/archiving
- Individuals from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups
- First-time RDAP Summit attendees
- Individuals who provide a clear and complete description of how attending the RDAP Summit will inform their scholarship or practice
